2: Finchley and Hornsey Ramblers
A friendly group based in North London. It meets weekly for a country walk and occasional holiday trips every year. Next walk:
- Barnet Church, High Barnet linear walk Oakwood Tube, 11k, Sunday, 10 March 2024 10:30 am. Easy terrain linear walk via Trent Park with good paths, some woods. Bring a picnic lunch.
3: North London Outdoor Group
If you want to step up the pace, NLOG is a friendly Barnet-based walking group. Walks are at a moderate to brisk pace.
It organises weekend day walks, occasional half-day walks UK walking weekends, and the occasional trip abroad. Monthly social evening. More info.

4: Proper Blokes Club, FInchley
Tuesdays at 7:00 pm
Come and join the group for a 3-mile circular route starting and ending at the tube station. A slow walk and talk down and around the back streets of the area.
5: Finchley WI monthly walking group
4-5 mile walks on the first Saturday of each month followed by a pub lunch. Previous walks have included Bermondsey city walk day trip to Whitstable, Monken Hadley, and further afield to Old Knebworth, Green Tye, and Ashridge. Email for more information.
6: AgeUK Barnet
Half a dozen walks each week, mostly in local parks. Check out:

- Friary Park, North Finchley – 10:00 am Mondays, optional tea in the café afterwards. Meet at Torrington Park entrance nearest to Ashurst Road. N12 9AJ.
